New Agent Training in Worldwide Spies

New Agent Training is the tutorial level in Worldwide Spies. It is the only onboarding the game will ever sit you down for. Union Jack Finn and Racer Holley ride shotgun in spirit and on the course: the first training race is explicitly “race around with Union Jack Finn and Racer Holley.” Finish that level. The badge it awards, New Agent Clearance, sits near 3% rarity (listed around 3.2% Insane on the Roblox page) because almost everyone skips school and jumps Radiator Springs.

This is not the old console Cars 2 campaign with six clearance ranks and lemon oil-rig missions. Team Chrome HQ’s Roblox racer is a 20-player sandbox with a training map bolted on. You will not unlock Shu Todoroki by farming bronze medals here. You will learn whether Shift, X, or the turbo can is the boost on your device before Tokyo writes you off.

What the tutorial actually is

The tutorial level is a closed course, not an open Radiator Springs. The job is C.H.R.O.M.E. basic driving: throttle, steer, turbo, and a first taste of handbrake. Finn and Holley are the instructors of record. Voice lines fire. Analog steering, if you have a controller, is already the better student. Keyboard WASD still graduates. Mobile players should confirm the handlebar does not cover the turbo can before the countdown ends.

Stay until you can take a medium corner without dragging the wall. That is the pass condition that matters, even if the game only checks “finished the race.” If you need the bind list beside you, keep Controls and Driving on a second screen. If you have not even joined the group yet, do that before or after, not during a lap; Rookie McQueen is a Team Chrome Rewards unlock, not a training reward.

Badge: New Agent

New Agent is the welcome badge. Description: welcome to Cars 2: Worldwide Spies. Rarity is a freebie (effectively 100% of people who trigger it). You get it for showing up. It does not prove you can drive. It is still worth having because badge hunters and the Roblox page treat it as the front door. If it does not pop, rejoin once; alpha badge scripts sometimes lag on first teleport.

New Agent is not Clearance. Do not confuse the names when you are checking your inventory.

Badge: Alpha Player

Alpha Player says you played during the alpha period, with flavor text that this is where the story truly begins. It is also a freebie while the game remains labeled alpha, which it has been since the 25 April 2021 launch. You are not late. The experience is still alpha on purpose. Expect bugs, odd physics after a GUI redesign, and maps that remaster under your feet (Black Forest already did).

Alpha Player does not expire just because you joined in 2026 instead of 2021. It marks that the live game is still that branch. It does not unlock racers. For roster rules, use How to Unlock Characters.

Badge: New Agent Clearance

This is the one to chase. Official text: you completed the first level of New Agent Training. These are just the first miles in your journey. Race around with Union Jack Finn and Racer Holley. Rarity sits around 3%, which Roblox surfaces as Insane. That number is a skip statistic, not a skill gate. The course is short. People leave.

How to get it:

1. Open Worldwide Spies and load the tutorial / New Agent Training level.
2. Drive the first training race to the flag. Do not AFK in the spawn.
3. Wait for the badge toast. If it misses, finish another training run or rejoin and complete the level again.
4. Then leave for Radiator Springs. Clearance is not a reason to live in the tutorial forever.

Clearance does not open a secret garage, a second turbo, or Paris. Paris is previewed and in development on the map list, unrelated to this badge. Clearance is a trophy that you did the onboarding. Wear it and move on.

Finn, Holley, and why the pair matters

Union Jack Finn is Finn McMissile in British racing dress for the lesson. Racer Holley is Holley Shiftwell in WGP-style kit. Together they are the spy-to-racer handshake the whole game is selling: you are not only a Piston Cup tourist, you are a C.H.R.O.M.E. recruit who also happens to run World Grand Prix streets. The training level is the only place that handshake is the entire point of the map.

You can pick other characters in the wider game. You should still run this course once even if you already main Francesco. The lesson is the track and the binds, not the body. Paints from Leap Forward do not change how the tutorial drives; save the Paint Jobs Guide for after you can turn.

After you graduate

Follow the same order as Getting Started:

1. Confirm Rookie McQueen if you joined Team Chrome HQ.
2. Queue Radiator Springs for a cruise lap and a race lap.
3. Only then take Tokyo, Porto Corsa, London, or Black Forest.
4. When you care about finishing position, read How to Win Races. Leap Forward placements and the anniversary VS / leaderboard boards assume you already survived training.

If a friend drags you into Smasherville Speedway before Clearance, you can go. You will just be the car that still does not know where camera is bound. The Maps and Track Guide will still be there after the badge pops.

Common ways people miss the badge

• Skipping the tutorial in the map list and never returning.
• Quitting the training race at 80% because the lobby is talking about London.
• Assuming New Agent (welcome) was Clearance.
• Switching devices mid-race and dropping from the server before the award.
• Hunting a fake “clearance level 6” leftover from the 2011 console game.

Worldwide Spies on Roblox is not that campaign. There is no Oil Rig Invasion to grind after this. There is a 20-player racer with 25-plus characters, and this is the on-ramp. Finish the miles, take the 3% badge, and go race.
