Join Team Chrome HQ for Rookie McQueen

1. Open the Team Chrome HQ group while logged into the account you race on.
2. Join the group. You do not need to pay Robux for membership.
3. Open the Worldwide Spies experience and leave a like. The official description treats like plus group join as the Rookie McQueen path.
4. Press Play and wait until the world loads on a 20-player server.
5. Leave and rejoin once. Group rank checks often run at session start, not mid-drive.
6. Open character select and look for Rookie McQueen. If the slot is still locked, wait a few minutes and hop servers again rather than hunting a code.

Rookie McQueen is a roster unlock, not a chat command. Pasting movie quotes will not grant it. If a friend already has the racer, they joined the group on their account; sharing passwords is how people lose places, not how you copy a car.

Like the game and why it matters

Team Chrome asks for a like because the experience is a free alpha with no real-world revenue. A like is the cheapest support signal Roblox gives a fan project. It is also the step players skip when they insist “the group did nothing.” Do both. Then rejoin. If you unlike the game later, do not be surprised if a future grant check fails; keep the like on if you care about the racer staying available on that account.

Badges: New Agent, Alpha Player, New Agent Clearance

New Agent Clearance. This one is not a freebie. It grants when you finish the first level of New Agent Training. The badge copy points you at laps with Union Jack Finn and Racer Holley. If you want that clearance, complete the training route instead of farming group joins on alts. New Agent Training is the practical walkthrough for that first-level loop.

None of these badges are promo codes. None of them require an executor. If a stranger sells “badge services,” report them.

Limited paint jobs (July 2026)

Leap Forward put paint jobs on the menu in May 2025. Later, two liveries ran as time-limited drops in July 2026:

They are not listed as active shop items on this wiki because the window closed. Do not expect a code to restore them. Do not download a “paint GUI” from a Discord DM. If Team Chrome restocks or reruns a patriotic week, that news will hit Discord, Twitter, and the Patch Updates Hub first. Until a restock is posted, assume you missed the drop.

Other paints from Leap Forward Update still sit on the character as selectable jobs when you own them. Event paints and permanent jobs are different lists; the Paint Jobs Guide splits collections from limited liveries. If a livery vanished from your garage after a GUI redesign, rejoin and check the paint submenu before filing a Discord bug; alpha UI passes have moved buttons before.

What the group is for besides McQueen

Team Chrome HQ is also the teaser channel for larger work. The Roblox description tells you to watch the group and its services for Mega Update previews. That is how Mega Update Roadmap is sourced: Black Forest remaster routes, international World Grand Prix racers, 4K texture rebuilds, Paris in development, RS Speedway revitalization, and character model passes. Joining the group is how you see those posts in Roblox, not how you skip a locked map.

The group is not Disney, not Pixar, and not a paid season pass. Gcqio’s studio is a Roblox community running a fan racing experience. Keep expectations at “alpha gifts and previews,” not licensed DLC.

Troubleshooting unlocks

Rookie McQueen missing after join. Confirm you joined 32817906 on the same account, liked the game, and fully rejoined. Incognito windows and account switches are the usual mistake.

Badge did not pop. New Agent and Alpha Player should appear after you spawn. Clearance needs training. Check the Roblox inventory badges tab; the in-game HUD may not toast every grant.

Paint missing. If it was All-American McQueen or Star and Stripe after July 2026, the event ended. If it was a Leap Forward job you already equipped, re-select it after a GUI patch.
